Opening & Maintaining your Account

Customers are asked to ensure that the details provided at registration (for example address, telephone number, email etc) are accurate and kept up to date. You can access and amend your own individual account information by clicking on ‘personal Details’ in the ‘Your Account’ area of the site.

When opening an account each customer is requested to choose his or her own user name and password. Customers should ensure that these details are kept private, as customers are responsible for all bets placed on their account, where the correct security information has been provided, dependent only on the current balance of the account. If you lose, or forget, your user name and/or password, or if you believe that a third party is aware of them, you should contact us immediately in order that new security details can be allocated to you. These new details will be emailed to you.

The minimum deposit amount is dependent on the type of payment method you choose (please see Banking Help) and you can only bet up to the amount available in your account. Interest is not paid on monies held in a customer account.

By registering, a customer is deemed to have fully accepted and understood all rules, terms and conditions published on this website.

From time to time we offer free bet incentives for new accounts. Existing customers are not eligible to receive new account offers.

Depositing & Withdrawing Funds

Ladbrokes does not charge for deposits made by Bank Transfer, Debit or Credit cards although customers should note that some credit card companies categorise betting transactions as ‘cash’ and may levy a fixed and/or interest charge from the date of payment.

We also do not charge customers for withdrawals to Debit or Credit cards or via Bank Transfer to bank accounts. Please note however that your Ladbrokes account should not be used as a banking facility and deposits should only be made with a view to using funds to place bets. Should customers make repeated deposits and withdrawals without commensurate bets being placed, we reserve the right to pass on to the customer’s account – without prior notice – any bank charges we have incurred before closing the account.

Account facilities are provided to customers solely to enable them to place bets or participate in poker or casino games. Customers who, for whatever reason, appear to be depositing or withdrawing money without genuine play will be liable to have their account suspended and the circumstances investigated. This may result in a report to the necessary authorities (see our responsibilities under Anti-Money laundering regulations) or the account being closed.

We accept and understand that when transferring funds to and from their Poker account customers may, because of the fluctuating nature of exchange rates, either lose or gain on the transaction. However, where we believe that customers are using the account facilities primarily to benefit from exchange rate fluctuations then we reserve the right to return funds at the exchange rate in force at the time monies were deposited.

Withdrawals via Bank Transfer to international accounts and all Western Union payments (deposits and withdrawals) attract Bank/Western Union charges that may vary according to the amount of money transferred and are met by the customer.

Ladbrokes.com, in its absolute discretion and without giving reason, reserves the right to refuse to accept any type of payment presented to it irrespective of whether it has previously accepted such payment type from that customer or would usually accept that payment type from any customer.

Payment of Winnings

Returns due on bets placed online will be added to your current deposit balance once the bet has been settled. This balance will remain in your internet account unless you submit an online request that part, or all, of the outstanding balance is returned to you. Once you have submitted your request you will receive a confirmation message that the transaction has been completed and your balance reduced appropriately. If your balance is zero, you will be required to transfer more funds before you are able to place any bets. Your processed funds will leave us a the close of business each day and will be processed as follows:

- Debit cards: funds will be paid back to your registered card and will be subject to the clearance period (normally three working days but it can be more) of the issuing bank or building society.
- Visa cards: funds will be paid back to your registered card, up to a maximum of £2,000 per day. Customers wishing to withdraw more than £2,000 in any day should contact our Customer Services Team (back to contact us).
- Mastercard cards; we are not able to pay funds back to Mastercard credit cards. Withdrawals will, where this is possible, automatically be paid to the registered bank account associated with the customer account via internet bank transfer. For additional payment methods see the Account Help area of the site.

For all the above methods any customer wishing to withdraw in excess of £2000 per day is asked to contact our Customer Service teams – please CONTACT US.
