Technical Problems

We do not provide a Technical Helpdesk service but the following fixes may help initially if you are having problems placing a bet on our site or if you cannot log on:

First reboot your PC

Check that your current settings have not been overwritten

Internet Explorer Users
  1. Start your Internet Explorer browser
  2. Choose Tools from the menu bar (at top of screen)
  3. Choose Internet Options
  4. Click on Settings on the Temporary Internet Files section
  5. Click on option 'Every visit to the page' then click on OK
  6. Click on OK to exit the Internet Options menu
  7. Close the Browser
  8. Start your Internet Explorer browser again
You may be having problems with Internet Explorer caching (storing internally) pages and the system not refreshing correctly. If so, do the following:
  1. Start your Internet Explorer browser
  2. Choose Tools from the menu bar (at top of screen)
  3. Choose Internet Options
  4. Click on Delete Files button, tick "Delete all offline content", then click on "OK"
  5. Click on the Clear History button then click on OK
  6. Click on OK to exit the options
  7. Close the Browser
  8. Start your Internet Explorer browser again
If you cannot place a bet on the site it may be that either your browser settings have disabled 'cookies' or you are behind a 'firewall'. To enable 'cookies' on your browser do the following:

For Internet Explorer - Click Tools-> Internet Options -> Security and click on default level

For Netscape Navigator/Communicator - Click Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced and set 'cookies' at enable

For Internet Explorer another fix to try is:
Click Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom Level -> and go to the heading 'cookies' and make sure that both 'enables' are clicked . Then go to 'scripting' and click the two 'enables' there.

If you are still experiencing problems after trying out these fixes please email us the following information and we will contact our IT department for advice:

Which operating system are you using? (Windows 95 or 98 or NT)

The site is designed to run most effectively on Internet Explorer 4 or later and Netscape 3 or later..
